I am a PhD student in Computer Engineering at the University of California, San Diego, with a background in computer science and engineering from CETYS Universidad, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. My research focuses on developing computationally efficient solutions for machine learning and computer vision applications, particularly for resource-constrained and embedded systems.
At UC San Diego’s Systems Energy Efficiency Lab, I work on Hyper Dimensional Computing (HDC) for tasks like time series prediction and point cloud segmentation, aiming to improve performance while minimizing computational costs. I am also passionate about LiDAR data analysis, deep learning-based image colorization, and using virtual reality for wildfire simulations.
My goal is to contribute to innovations in AI, autonomous systems, and real-time data processing that have practical impacts in areas such as environmental management and intelligent systems.
